Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy
Andhra Pradesh / Vijaywada :
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the general secretary of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRC), has vehemently denied allegations that he voted in the recent Telangana state assembly elections. Addressing the accusations, he stated that his vote is registered in Andhra Pradesh and refuted claims made by media outlets supported by the Telugu Desam Party (TD).
Ramakrishna Reddy clarified that his voter registration is in the Ponnur constituency of Andhra Pradesh. However, upon realizing that his current residence falls within the boundaries of the Mangalagiri constituency, he updated his voter registration accordingly. He emphasized that he had taken necessary steps to ensure his voting eligibility aligns with his current residential address.
Furthermore, Ramakrishna Reddy highlighted that on January 31, he formally requested officials to remove his and his family members' names from the voter list of Ponnur constituency, reiterating his commitment to transparent and lawful electoral practices.
Accusing those behind the false allegations of having ulterior motives, the YSRC general secretary asserted that the Telugu Desam Party has been encouraging its supporters to engage in fraudulent voter registration practices, including casting votes in multiple constituencies.
Ramakrishna Reddy's rebuttal comes amidst growing scrutiny over allegations of voter fraud and manipulation in electoral processes. As the controversy unfolds, he remains steadfast in defending his integrity and reaffirms his adherence to ethical conduct in the realm of politics.
