A children’s art competition was organised recently to celebrate Children’s Day. The event held on a lawn invited participation from the children. Despite being the first of its kind the competition received an overwhelming response with over 50 children taking part. Participants were divided into two groups based on their age: group 1 (ages 3-7) and group 2 (ages 8 and above).

Art is such an important part of our lives. It is also the most effective and easy form of self-expression. It brings so much peace and happiness and is essential for a healthy mind.

As an art curator and advocate for cultural exchange it was truly inspiring to witness the creativity and imagination of children aged 3 to 14 at this event. Their art reflects the purest form of self-expression and reminds us of the boundless potential of young minds. I wholeheartedly congratulate the organisers

The vibrant artwork and the children's creativity brought a lively charm to the early morning. Parents applauded this wonderful initiative that blended creativity, community spirit and celebration. A special highlight of the event was 11-year-old Jit Das, a special child whose energy and enthusiasm left a lasting impression
