Congress Criticizes Timing of CAA Rules Notification, Mamata Banerjee Labels it BJP's "Publicity for Elections"

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh highlighted the prolonged delay in notifying the rules and suggested political motives behind the timing, coinciding with the Supreme Court's electoral bonds case verdict and ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Mamata Banerjee expressed skepticism, calling it BJP's "publicity for elections" and vowed to fight against any rules depriving people of their rights.
