Trinamool Congress Strongman Handed Over to CBI Following Calcutta High Court's Directive
The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has transferred the suspended Trinamool Congress leader Sheikh Shahjahan, accused of various crimes including extortion, land grab, and sexual assault, to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This action follows a directive from the Calcutta High Court, which issued a contempt notice to the West Bengal CID and ordered that the investigation into the attack on Enforcement Directorate officials be handed over to the CBI. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with women victims of sexual assault in Sandeshkhali village and assured them of help, while accusing the Trinamool Congress government of shielding the accused in the case.

Bombay High Court Issues Contempt Notice to Directors of Budhrani Housing Developers Pvt Ltd Over Redevelopment Project
The Bombay High Court has issued a contempt notice to the directors of Budhrani Housing Developers Pvt Ltd, including Shyam Sunder Agarwal, Ajay Kumar Garg, and Purshottam Chattaram Budhrani, for not complying with undertakings given to the city civil court in 2017 regarding a redevelopment project in Andheri East. The court directed the developer to deposit Rs7.6 crore, and although the developer deposited Rs7,36,29,000, the court found a breach of undertakings and issued a contempt notice. The respondents have been given until the next hearing on March 8 to file reply affidavits, and they are permitted to comply with the undertakings by depositing the remaining shortfall.
