Gujarat Chief Minister Launches Schemes to Support Students' Education with Rs 1,650 Crore Allocation
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated two schemes aimed at providing financial assistance to students from Classes 9 to 12, with a budget allocation of Rs 1,650 crore. The "Namo Lakshmi Yogana" offers Rs 50,000 over four years to girls in Classes 9 to 12, while the "Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana" provides Rs 25,000 to students in the science stream in Classes 11 and 12. These initiatives, fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to girls' education and promoting science education, aim to empower women and youth in Gujarat through education.
