Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte Steps Down, Srini Pallia Named as Replacement
Wipro announced the departure of CEO Thierry Delaporte effective immediately, citing his decision to pursue interests outside of the workplace. Delaporte, who had been CEO since July 2020, will be succeeded by Srini Pallia, the current CEO for the company's Americas 1 area. The company expressed gratitude for Delaporte's leadership and highlighted the changes he implemented during his tenure. Delaporte's departure marks the latest in a series of high-profile exits from Wipro.
