Congress Central Election Committee to Decide First List of Lok Sabha Candidates
The Congress party will convene a meeting of its Central Election Committee on Thursday to finalize the first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Led by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, the committee will include former party chiefs Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Additionally, the Congress manifesto committee, headed by former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, has prepared a draft manifesto that will be discussed by the Congress Working Committee.
