Magnitude 4.4 Earthquake Hits Jaipur, Rajasthan; Minor Aftershock Follows
On July 21, 2023, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, India. The earthquake's epicenter was approximately 9 kilometers away from Jaipur, with a depth of 10 kilometers. A minor aftershock of 3.1 magnitude followed shortly after the initial quake. The National Center for Seismology reported the seismic activity.
