Rahul Gandhi Accuses Prime Minister Modi of Neglecting Manipur Amidst Ongoing Violence
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of neglecting Manipur amidst the ongoing violence in the state. Gandhi alleged that Modi's ideology was responsible for the turmoil in Manipur and that the Prime Minister only cared about a select few, not the suffering of Manipuri women. The opposition, led by INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance), moved a no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha to hold the government accountable for the violence in Manipur and demanded a statement from the Prime Minister. The motion sets the stage for a parliamentary battle between the ruling NDA (National Democratic Alliance) and the opposition.
