Maruti Suzuki Boosts Production Capacity at Manesar Plant, Unveils New Assembly Line
Maruti Suzuki has inaugurated a new assembly line at its Manesar plant, augmenting the facility's annual production capacity by 1 lakh units. Initially focusing on the production of the popular Ertiga MPV, the expanded capacity aims to alleviate extended waiting periods for customers. With plans for further diversification of models in the future, Maruti Suzuki aims to nearly double its production capacity to 4 million vehicles per annum in the next 7-8 years, in line with the Government of India's 'Make in India' initiative.
