Chandrayaan-3 Set for First Soft Landing Attempt on Moon in Three Days

Chandrayaan-3, India's third lunar mission, is on track to make its first soft landing attempt on the Moon within three days. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully completed the second and final deboosting operation of the mission on Sunday, reducing the module's orbit. Following this, the module will undergo internal checks, and the powered descent phase is scheduled to begin on August 23, 2023.

Chandrayaan-3 Completes Final Orbit-Raising Manoeuvre, Aims for Lunar Insertion

The Indian spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 has successfully completed its final orbit-raising manoeuvre, bringing it closer to lunar insertion.
