Jharkhand CM-elect Hemant Soren's new cabinet is likely to include at least one family member this time with the guessing game focused on whether the 49-year-old will induct wife Kalpana or younger brother Basant into his 12-

Under norms the ministry size must be limited to 15% of the assembly's strength and cannot be less than 12. In the case of Jharkhand's 80-member House this figure is 12.

With his wife and brother as possible contenders Hemant will also have to do a tightrope walk by picking ministers from the JMM quota which fulfills the caste equations of tribals SCs OBCs Muslims and Christians.

Kalpana won her Gandey seat twice in a year - first during a bypoll in June and then on Saturday - emerged as a workhorse for the JMM-led INDIA bloc as she spearheaded the alliance's month-long campaign.

While the party leadership remained tight-lipped about cabinet picks JMM insiders said there is not much room for an increase in party quota despite the tally rising from 30 to 34 seats this time.

We are eyeing six ministers from the JMM quota. In that case the seat-sharing in the cabinet will be at 7:4:1. RJD will get one and CPI-ML-L is likely to stay out of the cabinet
