The incident occurred on Tuesday night when the marriage procession leftGandevda village for Dehradun.
Two young men were caught in the flames but were rescued when the groom's brother Mohd Javed pulled them to safety while protecting himself with a jacket.
A recording of the rescue was shared widely on social media platforms.
On the basis of the video we have issued a challan against the owner of the vehicle - Mohd Usman - under the Motor Vehicle Act and the car has been seized.
