Two Additional Burglaries Unfold: Cash and Gold Valued at Rs 4.34 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: TWO more cases of house break ins were reported from Kapil Nagar and Yashodhara Nagar areas in the city. Burglars looted cashand gold ornaments collectively worth over Rs 4.34 lakh from both the houses.One break in was reported from the Kapil Nagar area where unidentified thieves entered the house of a 25-year old youth, Saurabh Ramesh Shahu, who stays at Plot No 34, Kadu

Saurabh had gone to attend his cousin's wedding ceremony. The house was locked between 7.30 pm and 11 pm on Tuesday. When he returned, he was shocked to find the door lock of his house broken and Rs 90,000 cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 74,000 stolen from an almirah. After Saurabh lodged a complaint, Kapil Nagar Police registered an FIR under Section 454,457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and initiated an investigation.
The second break in case was registered at Yashodhara Nagar
Police Station Unidentified persons broke into one Rajendra Abbas Ali's house (No 1757) at Tipu Sultan Chowk when he and his family had gone to Uttar Pradesh. The burglars sneaked into the house between November 15 and 22 after breaking open the door lock and fled with gold jewellery worth Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.50 lakh cash.
No arrests have been made yet.
