Trainee Pilot's Error: Plane Lands on MIHAN Taxiway Instead of Nagpur Runway

Instead of landing the plane on the runway of the airport here, a lady pilot landed the errant plane on the 'taxi way' in Mihan. This incident, which has worried many people including officials at Gondia and Nagpur airports, took place around 1 pm on Tuesday.

Fortunately, a major accident was avoided. This incident created a lot of excitement in the airport administration.

A woman pilot of Indira Gandhi Flight Academy took off from Gondia's Birsi Airport to Nagpur Airport around 12 noon on Tuesday. Dr. here. At around 1 pm, the officials searching for the missing plane realized that instead of the runway of the airport, the plane had landed safely at Bhalti and then they rushed there. At around 3.30 pm, the officials of the flying club reached Nagpur by another plane and they contacted the female pilot and got the information.

After that around 4.30 pm they took her and left for Gondia.

Another pilot flew the plane to Gondia after landing on the taxi way at around 8 pm.
