This Winter season City's lowest temperature around 12.8 degree celsius on friday.

On Friday morning Vidharbha recorded its lowest minimum temperature of the season. The temperature dropped to 12.8 degree Celsius .Gondia with 12.2 degrees Celsius, recorded the lowest minimum temperature of the season in all over Maharashtra on Friday. India Metrological Department (IMD) predicted that minimum temperature will settle at 11 to 13 degrees Celsius all over Vidharbha in the coming week where the temperature will drop further below 10 degrees Celsius in last week of December.
According to the IMD this will be the lowest minimum temperature of the season, likely to be marked below 8 degrees in Nagpur, will be recorded in the last week of December and the first week of January. Due to the moisture in the atmosphere created at all over Vidharbha as well all over the central part of India due to cyclone Michung that happened in the Bay of Bengal last month. The northerly wins also became a major factors for the chill in region. Metrological department also say that the sky is clear and highly anticipated in the upcoming days.Althrough there may be fog seen in early morning and northerly wind component is predicted to reach northern and central Maharashtra.
