But Warner is not the only high-profile cricketers who missed out on an IPL contract. Also in the unsold list are New Zealand's Kane Williamson & Darly Mitchell India's all-rounder Shardul Thakur Shardul Thakur& fast bowler Umes

Such is the quality of players in the list that an 'Unsold XI' can challenge any of the 10 teams.

In a detour from the practice of announcing IPL schedules close to the star of the season the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the scheduled dates for the next three seasons.

The 2025 IPL will run from March 14 to May 25.

The 2026 edition is scheduled from March 15 to May 31 and the 2027 season will start on March 14 and end on May 30.
