The AIADMK too is gearing up for the poll by forming a committee to conduct field studies and assess measures to strengthen the party's grassroots structure.
These parties aim to strengthen their grassroots presence by decentralising power, inclusivity and mobilizing voters.
On Friday VCK announced restructuring of its administrative setup by forming 234 district units and various party wings aligned with the assembly constituencies in the state. To facilitate this VCK has established 85 coordination committees in Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu and Puducherry
We have to strengthen the party structure across the state for the assembly election by bringing in women and non-dalits. There will be 10% women, 10% non-dalits and 25% youngsters in all district units. The proportion of youngsters will be maintained at all levels
The AIADMK has also formed a committee to conduct field studies and assess measures to strengthen the party's grassroots structure.
A 10-member committee comprising former ministers will visit 81 party district units. District secretaries have been asked to reconstitute booth committees with nine active members and reach out to voters immediately.

The DMK's coordination committee established in July has already met with office-bearers of various wings and encourages them to focus on membership drives and establish grassroots units.
The DMK youth wing has been giving training on social media to members for every part of the electoral roll. The district units have intensified meetings of booth level agents on inclusion and deletion of voters.
