Elaborating on preparations for the session, Speaker Rahul Narwekar told TOI that he had asked the government to increase the frequency of flights from Mumbai and Pune to Nagpur and vice versa. The Speaker had conducted a meeting last week with the senior officials of the district administration here through video conferencing to review the preparations.

It was attended by council deputy chairperson Neelam Gorhe and other senior officials.

Narwekar has also directed the administration to ensure adequate parking facilities for visitors at Vidhan Bhavan along with Ravi Bhavan and other premises.
