Rashmika Mandanna gets emotional as she wraps up 5-year journey with 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'

The buzz around 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' continues to grow as the film approaches its release date on December 5 2024. The journey ofPushpa Raj played by Allu Arjun Allu Arjun has been impactful not only for the audience but also for the cast and crew involved in the project.

Rashmika described her last day on set as overwhelmingly emotional. After a long day of shooting she flew to Chennai for an event and returned to Hyderabad that same night. Despite knowing it was her final day of filming she found it hard to grasp the significance of the moment.

And I knew it was my last day but somehow it didn't feel like the last day... you know, like hmm, I don't know how to say. Out of the 7/8 years, the last 5 years being on this set almost made this set my home in the industry and finally it was my last day. Of course there's still so much work left and apparently part 2

Rashmika recalled the intense hard work that went into creating 'Pushpa' feeling both exhausted and grateful for the relationships she formed with her co-stars, especially Allu Arjun and director Sukumar Sukumar.

She further wrote: "Allu Arjun sir and Sukku sir and the team are the only ones I think who know me the most as a person more than anyone else in the industry. They literally saw me most days since the last 5 years and Pushpa set had become my home ground and now to see it go is something so hard."

Allu Arjun also shared his thoughts on wrapping up the filming posting a picture from his last day.
