Andaz Apna Apna' starring Aamir Khan Salman Khan Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor is considered a cult movie today. Right from the film's characters to the dialogues and scenes are remembered even today and are a part of the meme culture

People were just not aware about it. The publicity was not done in a proper way and people were not aware that this was a comedy. People thought this would be a love story like Qayamat Se Qayamt Tak or Dil or Maine Pyar Kiya. The distributors were new so they didn’t release it properly.
