Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate a series of railway projects worth over Rs 85,000 crore, showcasing the government's commitment to modernizing and expanding the country's railway network. - Foundation Stone Laying: PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for various railway workshops, loco sheds, pit lines/coaching depots, as well as for the Phaltan - Baramati New line and electric traction system upgradation work.
- Dedication of Dedicated Freight Corridor Sections: He will dedicate to the Nation two new sections of Dedicated Freight Corridor, including the New Khurja to Sahnewal section of Eastern DFC and New Makarpura to New Gholvad section of Western DFC, as well as Western DFC's Operation Control Center in Ahmedabad.
- Flagging Off of Vande Bharat Trains: PM Modi will flag off ten new Vande Bharat trains and extend four existing Vande Bharat routes to further enhance connectivity across various regions.
- Inauguration of Passenger Trains: He will also inaugurate two new passenger trains between Asansol and Hatia, and Tirupati and Kollam stations.
- Freight Train Flag-offs: The Prime Minister will flag off freight trains on the Dedicated Freight Corridor from various locations, facilitating the efficient movement of goods.
- Dedication of Infrastructure: PM Modi will dedicate Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras, Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminals, automatic signaling upgrades, digital controlling of railway stations, rail coach restaurants, One Station One Product Stalls, and solar-powered-stations" target="_blank">solar-powered stations/buildings to the nation.
