Prabhas beats Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Allu Arjun and others to become India's most popular male film star

Riding high on the success of Kalki 2898 AD Prabhashas now topped the list of India's most popular male film stars surpassing icons like Shah Rukh Khan Salman Khan and Allu Arjun.
On Wednesday Ormax unveiled its "Ormax Stars India Loves: Most Popular Male Film Stars in India (Oct 2024)" list with Prabhas claiming the top spot and Actor Vijay secured the second position.
Shah Rukh Khan who recently returned to the big screen took third place on the list followed by Jr NTR and Ajith Kumar fourth and fifth.
Allu Arjun who will soon star in Pushpa 2: The Rule ranks sixth on the list. Mahesh Babu Mahesh Babu ranks seventh Suriya is eighth and Ram Charan Ram Charanis ninth. Salman Khan who hasn't had a release since Tiger 3 in 2023
The list was shared on X formerly known as Twitter. Prabhas' fans from various regions and languages celebrated his achievement and flooded the comment section with their excitement and praise.
While one fan wrote 'Rebel star prabhas (star emoji)' another added 'Number one Prabhas Raaju'. A fan also commented 'Prabhas the rebelwood'.
Prabhas was last seen in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD alongside Deepika Padukone Deepika Padukone Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. The film grossed over 1000 crore worldwide.
