One person was killed and another minor girl sustained injuries when a passenger semi-sleeper private bus carrying 35 passengers overturned after hitting a road divider near the Mooratganj area under the limits of Sandipanghat police station in Kaushambi district
The incident occurred when the private bus was on its way from Varanasi to Delhi.
The incident took place at around 11 p.m. on Saturday night when a semi-sleeper private bus carrying around 35 passengers overturned after hitting a road divider Deputy SP Sirathu said.
Besides a minor girl who sustained injuries to her hand was admitted to the Primary Health Centre Muratganj for treatment. Her condition was stated to be stable. The cops however rescued all the passengers and sent them to their respective destinations by other buses.
