The Supreme Court has again deferred the much-awaited hearing on the NEET PG 2024 case. The case revolves around calls for increased transparency in the postgraduate medical entrance exam conducted by the NBE.
The matter was brought before the apex court by a group of NEET PG 2024 candidates demanding the release of the exam’s answer key raw marks and details of the normalisation method used to calculate the results.

Stance on Confidentiality of the NBE
Despite appeals from NEET PG candidates the NBE has maintained that the exam content including the question papers and answer keys will not be made public. The Board justifies this stance by emphasising the confidentiality of the examination process which it claims is in line with its admission policy.
Aspirants’ growing frustration
For many aspirants the delay in the Supreme Court's final decision is a source of growing frustration. The petitioners argue that without transparency in the examination process it becomes difficult to ensure fairness especially in an exam that is as crucial as NEET PG
The case remains unresolved but with the next hearing scheduled for November 26 candidates are hopeful that a final resolution will soon be reached, bringing an end to the uncertainty that plagued the NEET PG 2024 process.
