Nagpur:n a enormous drug-associated development, the Nagpur police have apprehended two people determined in possession of one kilogram of hashish. This successful operation demonstrates the authorities' dedication to curtailing the unlawful drug change in the town.

The anti-narcotics cell of city police have nabbed two persons with 1.2 kg cannabis on Saturday night at Mankapur area. Cops were patrolling in the area when they received a tipoff and stopped a car (MHor-AR-0246). Cops checked the car and found cannabis in a bag.

Police arrested Abdul Kureshi (38)a resident of Godhani Road and Mirza Khan (42), a resident of Mankapur. Cops have seized the cannabis and the car in all worth 2.46 lakh. The accused have been booked under sections of NDPS Act.It should be noted that a few days back, 200 kgs cannabis was seized in a truck which was being brought into the city from Sambalpur, Odisha.
