Shami's spell of 4-0-16-0 restricted Meghalaya to a total of 127 for six this performance marks a significant step in his comeback.

Axar and Bishnoi shine in Gujarat's win

In a Group B encounter in Indore Gujarat's Axar Patel (4-0-19-2) and Ravi Bishnoi (4-1-16-1) delivered economical spells to restrict Sikkim to 101 for six in 20 overs setting the stage for a six-wicket victory with three overs to spare

Despite a shaky chase that saw wickets tumbling from one end opener Aarya Desai anchored Gujarat's innings with an unbeaten 47 off 48 balls including six boundaries.

Sikkim's Lee Yong Lepcha and Parth Palawat put up a fight claiming two wickets each but Desai's steady knock ensured Gujarat crossed the finish line comfortably.
