Lokayukta notice to Karnataka minister Zameer Ahmed Khan in disproportionate assets case

The Karnataka minister B. Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan said on Saturday that the Lokayuktapolice investigating adisproportionate assets case have summoned him.
Khan told PTI that the Enforcement Directorate Enforcement Directorate had previously conducted a raid against him regarding the same case. Subsequently the ED transferred the matter to the Anti-Corruption Bureau which then handed it over to the Lokayuk
"It's a routine notice. There's nothing new in it," Khan said.
Sources say the ED's raid on Khan in August 2021 occurred during their investigation of the IMA Ponzi scam.
Following the raid the ED shared with the ACB materials related to the disproportionate assets case. With the ACB no longer functioning the Lokayukta received the case for further investigation.
