The CPM state secretary said the party had also not sought any explanation from Jayarajan.
Govindan laughed off an allegation that Jayarajan was forced to attend an LDF election rally in Palakkad and spoke highly of P Sarin saying EP was not a kid to be ushered to any meeting.
Inaugurating the new building of the Kanjikuzhy local committee in Alappuzha on Friday Pinarayi Vijayan said Jayarajan had clarified that he did not even think of writing whatever was being discussed about the book.
Vijayan also asked how it was possible to conduct a book release function without the writer’s presence or informing him.
