‘Kanguva’ box office collections day 6: Suriya’s film mints Rs 59.90 crores

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook)Tamil superstar Suriya’s recently released period action drama ‘Kanguva’ has started showing signs of slowing down at the box office.
According to the Sacnilk website the Siva directorial collected 59.90 crore from India in 6 days and on the 6th day it managed to collect 3.15 crore as per the website's early estimates.

On day 5 the movie also minted Rs 3.15 crore which shows that ‘Kanguva’s box office collections may slow down in the coming days.
On November 19 ‘Kanguva’ had an overall 12.79 percent Tamil occupancy with morning shows at 11.40 percent, afternoon shows at 12.88 percent, evening shows at 11.43 percent and night shows at 15.46 percent.
The 3D version of the period action flick had an overall 13.08 percent Tamil occupancy on Tuesday with morning shows at 10.49 percent, afternoon shows at 12.90 percent, evening shows at 11.55 percent and night shows at 17.36 percent.
In Telugu ‘Kanguva’ had an overall occupancy rate of 14.72 percent on day 6 with morning shows at 14.44 percent, afternoon shows at 15.66 percent, evening shows at 13.22 percent and night shows at 15.56 percent.
One of the few interesting aspects of Kanguva is its innovative fight sequences – one involving snakes and scorpions and another of the women in 1070 attacking their enemies.
