Honda Activa goes electric! Unveiled with QC1 e-scooter.Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India has finally debuted in the growing electric vehicle market in India. The models will be available for booking from January 2025 with deliveries starting in February 2025.

The Honda Activa Electric has a modern and sleek design. The front apron sports a sharp, angular headlamp integrated with turn indicators and sleek LED DRLs adding a futuristic touch. The bodywork is smooth and flowing with a mix of curved and straight lines. It gets a long seat and a flat footboard.

The Activa e is powered by two 1.5 kWh rechargeable batteries with a total capacity of 3 kWh. With a peak power output of 8 bhp and 22 Nm of torque it can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 7.3 seconds. The model offers three riding modes namely Econ Standard and Sport.

On the other hand the QC1 runs on a 1.5 kWh fixed battery offering a range of 80 km on a full charge. It features a home charging system that allows a full charge in 6 hours and 50 minutes with 80% capacity reached in 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The suspension duties on the electric Activa are carried out by telescopic forks in the front and a three-step adjustable spring loaded unit at the rear. Stopping power comes from a 160 mm front disc and a 130 mm drum brake setup.

The QC1 has a front telescopic fork with 5-step adjustable hydraulic for the rear. Braking duties are carried out by drum brakes on both wheels.

The Activa e comes with a 7-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity music controls navigation adaptive brightness. The QC1 on the other hand comes with a modest 5.0-inch LCD display a USB Type-C charging port and a spacious 26-litre under-seat storage. It gets two riding modes - Standard and Econ. It will be available in five colour options - Pearl Serenity Blue

Honda is offering a 3-year/50,000 km warranty, three free services and complimentary roadside assistance for the first year for both models.
