Godrej Properties Limited has made a significant move to enhance its portfolio by acquiring approximately 12.5 acres of land in Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad. The strategic acquisition reflects the company's commitment to expanding its presence in key real estate markets across India.
The prime location of the land offers immense potential for development, with an estimated 4 million sq ft of saleable area. Godrej Properties anticipates generating revenue of ₹3,500 crore from the project, emphasizing its focus on delivering high-value offerings to customers.
The project is set to primarily feature premium residential apartments, catering to the growing demand for quality housing in Hyderabad. The company highlights the area's well-developed infrastructure, including educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and retail establishments. Moreover, its connectivity to the airport and commercial centers further enhances its appeal to prospective residents.
Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties, expressed satisfaction with the company's entry into the vibrant Hyderabad real estate market. He emphasized the strategic significance of the acquisition in line with the company's growth strategy, aiming to deliver a landmark project that adds long-term value for residents.
Despite the positive development, Godrej Properties' shares experienced a marginal decline of 0.43 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). However, the company remains optimistic about the prospects of the project and its overall performance in the real estate sector.
