Fire breaks out in residential highrise in Mumbai's Dongri

A fire broke out in a 15-storey residential building in the Dongri area of south Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon.

The fire started on the 14th floor of the Ansari Heights building around 1.10pm.

As per officials there have been no reported injuries so far.

At least four fire engines and other firefighting vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene on Nishan Pada Road to contain the flames.

The firefighting operation is currently ongoing and authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
