Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika SajdehNEW DELHI: Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika Sajdeh were blessed with a baby boy on Friday night as wishes poured in from all quarters.
Rohit who previously did not travel with the Indian Test team for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy became a father for the second time as wife Ritika gave birth to a baby boy at a local hospital in Mumbai.
The Indian T20I team which wrapped up the South Africa tour on Friday with a series-clinching 3-1 win also congratulated Rohit and Ritika teasing the skipper that a new cricketer has arrived
We were all waiting for this moment. I'll be joining you and the baby soon. Really excited," said Tilak Varma in a video posted by the BCCI.

"We will now have to get ready for a new cricketer who will soon join us," said T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav.
Rohit and Ritika already have a daughter Samaira who was born in 2018.
With the baby boy arriving on Friday there is a possibility that Rohit might make it to the first Perth Test against Australia from November 22.
Gautam Gambhir had earlier said that there is no clarity yet on whether Rohit will feature in the first Test.
