Siddaramaiah said the govt has launched the Nipuna Karnataka programme aimed at enhancing the skills of local talent to improve their global competitiveness in emerging technologies.

He said the govt has adopted a cluster-based approach to drive balanced regional growth from Mangaluru’s fintech developments and Hubballi-Dharwad’s advancements in EVs and drones to Mysuru being a PCB cluster.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said the city has over 85 fabless chip design houses and is a talent powerhouse for the semiconductor industry.

In a short period of time we have launched many mega projects to improve ease of living and ease of business in Bengaluru. The tunnel project and the Bengaluru Business Corridor (known as PRR earlier) was gathering dust for more than a decade. We have kicked started the project and the work will start in 6 months. This project will solve traffic congestion to a large extent
