Colaba again recorded the lowest voter turnout of nearly 44.5% in the city. The turnout this time was much higher than in 2019 when the constituency polled 40.2% but lower than the 2014 turnout of 46.
Even in the May Lok Sabha polls Colaba assembly segment which is part of the South Mumbai LS constituency recorded the lowest voter turnout at 43.68%.
Bhandup West recorded the highest voter turnout among the city's 36 constituencies at 61.1%% breaking its own previous highs of 56.2% and 55.4% polling in the 2019 and 2014 polls respectively.
