A Chennai family court on Wednesday granted a divorce under mutual consent to actor Dhanush DhanushandAishwarya Rajinikanth.

A divorce petition moved by the couple was granted by the principal family court judgeS Subadevi granted the divorce to the couple.

In January 2022 Dhanush and Aishwarya announced on social media their decision to separate mutually and later filed a petition for the same before the family court in Chennai.

They got married in 2004 and are parents of two sons.
