SP chief Akhilesh YadavActing on cases reported from Bhikanpur and Milak Siri the poll body removed a sub-inspector two head constables and two woman constables from election duty. Based on Yadav's post on X alleging that people from

CEC Rajiv Kumar taking cognisance of Yadav's complaints had earlier issued strict directions to the UP chief electoral officer and district election officers to ensurefree and fair polls.

No eligible electors should be prevented from voting. No partisan approach will be tolerated and anyone found guilty upon investigation shall face action.
